Rolex Datejust 16233 Black 1989 FS

The Rolex Datejust (Ref. 16233) is a timeless icon, but this particular version with a black diamond dial elevates the classic "Two-Tone" style to a higher level. The deep black sunray dial provides the perfect canvas for the ten brilliant, gold-set diamonds that mark the hours. In combination with the fluted bezel of 18k yellow gold, a play of light is created that impresses both during the day and in the evening.

This watch dates back to 1990, a significant transitional year in which Rolex combined the robustness of modern materials with vintage elegance. The 16233 was one of the first Datejusts equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, making this example extremely suitable for daily wear. Under the hood ticks the renowned Caliber 3135, a chronometer-certified automatic movement known as one of the most reliable engines Rolex has ever produced.

With its 36 mm case and the iconic Jubilee bracelet, this watch offers unparalleled wearing comfort. The condition of this example is classified as sublime, meaning that the sharp lines of the case and the integrity of the bracelet have been excellently preserved. For those looking for a Rolex that combines prestige, precision, and a touch of glamour, this "Black Diamond" Datejust is the ultimate choice.
