The Rolex Day-Date Ref. 18038 from 1984 is the ultimate expression of Rolex's most prestigious watch line. Crafted entirely in solid 18k yellow gold and fitted with a sparkling black diamond dial, this is a watch that commands attention.
The 36 mm case is made entirely of solid yellow gold, with a fluted bezel and the signature President bracelet, likewise in solid 18k yellow gold. A sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens protects the date display, and the dial is set with diamonds in place of traditional indices.
Inside the case ticks the automatic calibre 3055, equipped with a quickset function for the date. This example comes with the original Rolex warranty papers.
