During my student days, around 2013, I received a gold-colored Seiko from a good friend who is now known as Langedyk Vintage Watches . It wasn't real gold, but to me, it felt priceless. At the time, I only owned an old, scratched Casio and spent every euro I earned on Amsterdam's nightlife.

That Seiko was much more than a watch. It was a symbol of trust and friendship. Every time I wore it, I felt proud. It gave me self-confidence and made me realize that I could grow from a broke student into an ambitious man.

Not long after that, I started working in online marketing and helped that same friend with the marketing for his growing watch business. He sold vintage watches, and that is exactly where my own passion was born. I listened to the customers' stories: why they bought a watch, what it meant to them, and what memory or emotion was attached to it. That opened my eyes.

A watch is never just a watch. It captures time, emotion, and memories in a single object. Every time you look at your wrist, you are reminded of a goal, a specific moment, or a phase in your life. That is what makes this profession so special to me: helping others find a vintage watch that becomes part of their own life story.

As I explored the world of mechanical watches, with all the different models, the technology, and the history of the brands, I was immediately hooked. It felt like a little boy in a toy store again. I developed my own taste and began linking personal goals to the watches I hoped to own someday.

A vintage watch can be an investment, but it can also mark the beginning of a new chapter. A new owner wears a vintage watch with pride during the moments that truly matter. This still fascinates me every day, and I love helping others find the perfect piece to suit those moments.

In 2025, I decided to continue independently and changed the name from Timeless Finders to Segundor, a name that reflects my vision and the belief that every second counts.

The name Segundor stands for the belief that every second counts. It may sound Spanish, but it fits our Dutch vintage watch company perfectly because we like to be just a little different.
